The R&P.W.C.G.S (also known as the Picks & Shovels) is a Members Club golfing society with Eighty playing Members primarily associated with the Construction Industry.

Members are always welcome to invite friends and colleagues as guests to the various Society Meetings.

The Annual Fixture List and Society Trophies reflect the competitions held at most Members Golf Clubs. Each Meeting also has prizes played for by Members Guests for the day. All Competitions are played using the Stableford system of scoring to maintain a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The Autumn Meeting has been held each year at the Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club for the past sixty four years and culminates with the Annual Society Dinner at the Club on the final evening.

The Society celebrated its Ninetieth Anniversary in 2023.
